The premise for the YOUTH Lists is to establish an outlet for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and supportive youth to talk with each other concerning such issues as coming out, schools, parents, friends, relationships, and other gay-related and non-gay-related youth issues.
There are three email lists, all entirely run by youth volunteers, that complete this mission: YOUTH13-17, YOUTH17-21, and YOUTH21-25.
We also offer another youth-only list: STR8 (for youth up to 25 years old who are straight or questioning who have friends or family members who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or questioning).
In operation since 1997, these lists have helped literally thousands of young people through the unique setup of peer support.
The YOUTH21-25 list is for youth between the ages of 21 and 25. Subscribers to this list must be between the ages of 21 and 25 at the time of subscription. However, if desired, subscribers may continue to remain on the YOUTH21-25 list even beyond their 26th birthday. Subscribers younger than 21 should subscribe to the YOUTH13-17 List or YOUTH17-21 List. Twenty-one-year-olds are given the option of subscribing to either the YOUTH21-25 list, or the YOUTH17-21 list, or to both lists.
The YOUTH Lists have a strict age policy in order to hopefully solve the problem of older people hanging around in supposed youth forums. The age policy will be strictly enforced on the list. Although there is no absolute way to guarantee that a subscriber is within the proper age range, if it comes to the attention of the list staff that a particular subscriber is over the permitted age then that subscriber will be immediately removed from the list. The list will try its best to remain youth ONLY.
Subscription requests are sent to the Subscription Manager for approval. After sending a subscription request, you will soon receive a copy of the list's general rules and guidelines. Upon notification of your agreement to the rules and guidelines established for the list, you will be subscribed to the list. Although this may seem like a lot of red-tape, it is for the protection of the subscribers and for the integrity of the list to remain YOUTH ONLY.
The list staff reserves the right to refuse or cancel membership to the YOUTH21-25 list to anyone for any reason, including, but not limited to, fraudulent statement of age, incorrect age range for the list, or repeated infractions against the list's rules and guidelines.

Subscribe to YOUTH21-25 by filling out the following
form.
You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to
prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once
confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval
by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's
decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the
list of members is available only to the list administrator.
